Dr. Ma is an Associate Professor (Research) in the Department of Geography, The University of Hong Kong. She worked at Wuhan University prior to joining HKU. Her main research interests include radiative transfer modeling, development of retrieval algorithms for land surface and atmospheric variables using data assimilation and machine learning techniques to support global environmental change applications and sustainable development.
